Symposium Overview
The 'Early detection and diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis: The importance of multi-disciplinary management' symposium was held to coincide with PSORIASIS 2010, the 3rd Congress of the Psoriasis International Network in Paris. Leading experts came together to discuss the different elements of the management of psoriatic arthritis - from detection and early diagnosis, to shared care and practical treatments. The symposium aimed to stimulate lively discussions and debate and to provide insights on the effective management of this chronic and often disabling condition.

About PSORIASIS 2010
PSORIASIS 2010 was held in Paris, France from 1-4 July 2010. The congress directly aimed to serve the needs of dermatologists in private practice, or dermatologists caring for psoriasis patients in hospitals. Keynote speakers from all fields of psoriasis research and care had been invited to provide an update on the latest developments, in diagnosis or treatment of psoriasis, management of comorbidities, and also management of many complex side effects that may arise during a long-term treatment of a systemic inflammatory disease such as psoriasis.
