The ‘Inside and out’ Media Academy will be held at the 18th Annual Congress of Dermatology & Venereology (EADV) and will explore the theme that psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis treatments can be tailored to address individual patient needs.

Key features of the media academy
The media academy will include presentations from internationally renowned speakers on the management of psoriatic conditions and the importance of individualised care. Personal experiences of living with these inflammatory diseases will further reinforce the need for long term efficacy in treatment and address the benefits of convenience and flexibility in dosing regimens.
By attending the media academy you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain insights into the impact and burden of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and the need for early and effective treatments
- Hear new data demonstrating how treatments such as biologics are stopping psoriatic disease progression and improving patient lives

Psoriasis: The Naked Truth at EADV
The Psoriasis: The Naked Truth exhibition, featuring photographs and inspiring stories of people with psoriasis, will be displayed at the Internationales Congress Centre, Berlin, during the EADV congress. The exhibit was created by renowned photographer Ralf Tooten to raise awareness about the physical and emotional impact of psoriasis and to encourage people with psoriasis to speak to their doctor about the life-changing potential of treatment. The exhibition is intended to challenge the public’s perception of psoriasis and address the stigma that may be associated with the disease.
All visitors are welcome to view the exhibition in the entrance foyer of the Internationales Congress Centre between 9-5pm over the congress period, 7-11 October 2009.
